serieus kijkende jonge man met een harp

Remy van Kesteren

Remy van Kesteren's life changed at the age of five when he first heard the enchanting sound of a harp, sparking a lifelong passion. Twenty years later, he was praised by The New York Times as a ‘brilliant harpist’ and won the world's largest international harp competition in 2013.

Despite this success, at the age of 25 he felt the need to push the boundaries of his instrument, which led him to explore new musical directions, including cross-genre performances and innovative harp designs. He even collaborated on the creation of the Salvi Réus, a unique harp with 49 strings, and the Harp-E, an affordable harp for children. With over 12 million Spotify streams and creative projects spanning dance, film and festivals, Remy continues to bring the harp to a wider audience in new ways.
