Giuseppe Mengoli
The charismatic Italian conductor Giuseppe Mengoli began his career as a conductor at the age of 19, after his leadership qualities as concertmaster of both youth and professional orchestras were noticed by several renowned conductors.
In 2018, he made his debut as a conductor with the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra in Bad Schandau. Mengoli is currently studying orchestral conducting at the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, under the supervision of Nicolás Pasquet, and regularly conducts orchestras such as the Staatskapelle Weimar and the Jenaer Philharmonie, while continuing his dual career as a conductor and violinist.
