Jérôme Meyer & Isabelle Chaffaud: “The music was written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart when he was eighteen. I was that same (tempestuous) age when I (Jérôme Meyer) auditioned with Scapino. This music has the fire of youth. The confidence, drive and energy of the young – the conviction that anything is possible.”
Why should we come? “Fierce Youth was created in the context of Wonderworld, so should be seen alongside the rest. I hope our work lingers in the audience’s memory like an exquisite glass of champagne!”
Typical Meyer and Chauffaud: “We hope to surprise the audience again and again. If our work was recognizable, the novelty would soon wear off.”
