Hard on the heels of the dance hit ‘It’s a beautiful world’ ten choreographers whirl the audience away to WONDERWORLD.

Ed Wubbe has brought together a group of well-known choreographers who are shaping the face of Dutch dance. Their work has been presented at all the important dance platforms and festivals but has never before been seen together on one stage, in one production.

‘Wonderworld’ is all about hope and imagination

The evening is an enchanting tornado of short dance pieces. A rich mosaic of images, impressions and the flavour of many different dance styles is a feast for the senses. In ‘Wonderworld’ repetitive, robust dance by the company follows a fairytale solo and an intimate novella, culminating in an exhilarating finale.

The themes bubbling below the surface tell the tale of a lonely soul who fights free of convention, about the power of youth and the belief that anything is still possible, with a pinch of Icelandic myth.
