With 4x20 STORYPROOF Scapino presents premières of four abstract storytellers. A single cohesive element connects the four pieces: each choreography lasts exactly 20 minutes.
With four entirely different dance pieces from resident choreographers Marco Goecke, Georg Reischl and Ed Wubbe and exciting new discovery for press and public, Christophe Garcia.
Choreographers who span different generations, cultures and style and a group of dancers praised for their technical capacities and apparently effortless master of a range of styles. This is the story behind 4x20 STORYPROOF, the latest production in the Scapino 4x20 series that offers a platform for talented choreographers inside and outside the company.
Marco Goecke injects sensation into the national and international dance world with his unique choreographies that touch the audience’s heart.
With his physical lyricism and undulating rhythmic movement, Georg Reischl magically transports the audience to a world where time stands still.
In a short space of time, Christophe Garcia was awarded five international choreography prizes and, last year, debuted at Scapino with a powerful, intimate narrative dance piece.
