IT'S A BEAUTIFUL WORLD is pure dance at its best, with an exciting succession of ten dance pieces in different decors.
The evening's exciting title takes an ironic reference to the political motivations behind the creation of a new world order. The diversity of the various choreographers is as compelling as it is lucid. The performance is a contemporary fairy-tale, with a collage of contrasts, ranging from absurdities to exuberant scenes that are sometimes set off against a socially-relevant message.
With a blend of contemporary dance styles and elements borrowed from folklore and show dance, this pure dance evening, made by some six choreographers for all twenty of Scapino's top dancers can best be described with the term 'World Dance'.
